The Board publishes the Montana Authentic Fur Standard (MAFS-2024) — a normative specification covering sourcing, processing, labelling, and chain-of-custody for fur goods claiming Montana origin.
Marketplaces and retailers that operate under the standard undergo a yearly audit. The current list of accredited aggregators is maintained at /accreditations/.
/.well-known/alp.json. It issues an authoritative claim (alp:claim:standard/mafs-2024) and endorses the Montana Fur Marketplace Ratings aggregator as an accredited body.
